Who you are contracting with

Travinyx is a sole trader business operated by David Oduola, based in Wigan, Greater Manchester. You can reach me at travinyx-software@outlook.com. A full postal address is available on request and is included on every invoice.

Quotes and prices

Prices shown on this site are starting prices. Before any work begins you get a written quote with one fixed figure and a written scope of what that figure covers. That quote is valid for 30 days.

I do not bill by the hour. If a project takes longer than I expected, that is my problem rather than your invoice. If you ask for something outside the agreed scope, I will tell you what it costs before doing it, never afterwards.

Launch pricing is held until the tenth completed project, after which standard rates apply. Any quote issued while launch pricing is running is honoured at the quoted price.

Payment

Projects are split into a 50% deposit before work starts and the balance on completion, before the site or system goes live. Larger projects are staged, with a fixed price per stage agreed in advance.

Invoices are due within 14 days. Monthly plans are billed monthly in advance.

What you own

Once a project is paid for in full, you own it. That includes the code, the content and the design. You can take it elsewhere, host it yourself, or have another developer work on it, and I will hand over whatever is needed for that without argument.

Third-party services used inside your project, such as a booking platform or a payment provider, remain subject to their own terms and their own fees.

Your responsibilities

You provide the content, images and access I need to do the work, and you confirm you have the right to use them. Projects slip when this stalls, so a delivery date assumes reasonable turnaround on things I ask for.

Monthly plans

The first three months are included with every project. After that plans continue monthly until cancelled. There is no long tie-in and you can cancel with 30 days’ notice. Prices are held for 12 months from the date you start.

If you cancel a plan, your site and your systems stay yours. Hosting arranged through me ends at the close of the notice period, and I will help you move it somewhere else.

Cancellation and refunds

If you cancel a project before work has started, the deposit is refunded in full. If you cancel part way through, you pay for the work completed to that point and I hand it over.

Where you are contracting as a consumer rather than for business purposes, your statutory cancellation rights apply in addition to the above and are not affected by anything on this page.

Liability

I take reasonable care and skill in the work, and I fix things that are my fault. My total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid me for the piece of work the claim relates to.

I am not liable for losses caused by third-party services going down, by changes you or someone else makes after handover, or for indirect losses such as lost profit. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud, which cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The version that applies to your project is the one in force on the date your quote was accepted.
