Privacy

This describes what this website actually does, not what a template says a website might do.

Who is responsible

Travinyx is a sole trader business run by David Oduola in Wigan, Greater Manchester. If you want to talk to a person about anything on this page, that person is me: travinyx-software@outlook.com.

What the enquiry form collects

When you send the form on this site, it collects what you typed into it: your name, and optionally your business name, email address, phone number, the kind of business you run, what you need, a description of the problem, a rough budget and a rough timescale. It also records which page you sent it from and the time it was sent, so I know what you were reading.

The form does not collect anything you did not type. There is no tracking of what you looked at before submitting it, and no third-party advertising pixel anywhere on this site.

Where it goes

It is emailed to me at travinyx-software@outlook.com and it lands in my inbox. Delivery is handled by a transactional email service, which processes the message in order to send it. It is not added to a mailing list, it is not sold, and it is not shared with anyone else.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted from my inbox after twelve months. Enquiries that do become projects are kept for as long as I am working with you and for six years afterwards, because that is how long business records have to be kept for tax purposes.

Analytics

If you accept it, this site loads Google Analytics, which sets cookies and tells me which pages people read, roughly where in the world they are, and whether they clicked the buttons. IP addresses are anonymised. If you reject it, or ignore the banner, none of it loads at all. The script is never requested.

Your choice is stored in your own browser so you are not asked again. You can change it any time on the cookies page.

Hosting and fonts

Like any website, the server that delivers these pages keeps short-term request logs (IP address, page requested, time) for security and diagnostics. Typefaces are served from this site rather than from Google Fonts, so loading a page does not tell Google you were here.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email travinyx-software@outlook.com and I will do it and confirm when it is done. You do not need to give a reason. If you are unhappy with how I have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this site starts doing something else with your data, this page changes first.
